DH2 is the fifth time I've worked with Mike Andrews on a film. Mike is a terrific composer who always writes interesting themes. This film was no different.
These cues are a mix of Mike's themes and original material of mine. They were recorded with the Hollywood Studio Orchestra on the Warner Brothers scoring stage.
Once again, it was great to work with Mike and contribute to another hilarious film!
Down to his last ball, Dylan has not struck a pin. One more gutter ball and he will bowl a perfect ZERO! The music for this scene needed to start tenderly under Kurt’s (Mel Gibson) pep talk, then build the suspense as Dylan rolls his final ball, and finally culminate with a big orchestral hero finish! C’mon Dylan!
