Danny Elfman is one of my film scoring heroes, so I was very excited when he hired me in to write additional music for him. The first scene he gave me to work on was the huge action sequence of a run-away train crashing and then dangling off a giant bridge and the subsequent chase as our heroes try to escape by climbing up the dangling train cars before they detach and plunge into the ravine. Oh yeah, there's also an assassin on board who's trying to kill them at the same time.
After that, Danny asked me to score the iconic red car chase scene, where Angelina Jolie's character lays out on her back on the hood of a speeding Dodge Viper, steers the car through traffic with her foot as she shoots at the bad guy behind her. Awesome!
